International Credit Union Day 2013
About ICU Day
International Credit Union Day (ICU Day) has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948. The day is recognized to reflect upon the credit union movement's history and to promote its achievements. It is a day to honor those who have dedicated their lives to the movement, recognize the hard work of those working in the credit union industry, and show members our appreciation.
The ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the great work that credit unions are doing around the world and give members the opportunity to get more involved.
SFFCU celebrates on Thursday, October 17th
In honor of this special day, SFFCU invites its members and the entire community to an Open House. Stop by and get to know our staff, our products, our services, and all the benefits of credit union membership. Additionally, members who bring in new members that open a Checking Account will receive a $10 deposit into their account. Remember, your family members are eligible for membership, so bring them in!
