FACT Act
The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act) allows consumers to request and obtain a free credit report once every twelve months from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies. This law was designed to aid in the fight against identity theft, increase the accuracy of consumer reports and limit the type and amount of marketing solicitation you receive.
