2026 Scholarship

Ruth and Lake Lytal Memorial Scholarship

We're currently accepting applications for the Ruth and Lake Lytal Memorial Scholarship. Established in 1999, this scholarship honors two of our founding members and dedicated volunteers, Lake and Ruth Lytal, whose commitment to service and community helped shape our credit union.

Lake Lytal was a respected Palm Beach County leader who served 32 years on the County Commission and was a member of our original Board of Directors. His impact on the community is reflected in Lake Lytal Park in West Palm Beach, named in his honor. Ruth Lytal was a lifelong educator and active supporter of local charities, known for her dedication to helping others.

Each year, we continue their legacy by awarding two $2,000 college scholarships to qualifying members. Applications can be downloaded or are available at any of our branches. Completed applications can be returned to any branch.

The deadline for accepting applications is Friday, May 29, 2026. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, community involvement and financial need.
